What We Do
Our programs teach teens a deeper learning of life changing principles and concepts leading them to a higher respect for themselves and others, and a deeper understanding of their own identity.
Items collected to benefit teen mothers by providing safe sleeping environments or travel aids in order for the mothers to remain active in school.
To clarify, in the U.S., an “at-risk” student is a term used to describe someone who requires temporary or ongoing intervention in order to succeed academically or personally. “At risk” students, also referred to as “at-risk” youth, are adolescents who are less likely to transition successfully into adulthood to achieve economic self-sufficiency.
Characteristics of “at-risk” students include emotional or behavioral problems (to include criminal acts), truancy, below average academic performance, and those expressing a desire to disconnect from the school environment.
By funding YRI, and our campaigns to provide character development programs to "at-risk" youth, you can help us reach more children in public schools, Teen Pregnancy programs, and adolescent mentoring programs such as Big Brothers, Big Sisters, to name a few.
